Seeking maternal blood line information related to Hughes surname in New Zealand that has possible Maori blood lines. Also the Gordon or Percy surnames. The names of the women I am enquiring about are: Mary Ann Hughes ca. 1800 - 1850 +/-; Charlotte Percy ca. 1830-1880 +/-; and Margaret Gordon ca. 1850 +. Each of these women married into the McElwain surname. Have decent info on McElwain, but am looking to establish the maternal lines. Thank you - any assistance appreciated.
