Surnames: O'Donnell, Gilroy, McLroy, McElroy, Yeoman, Drum, Gee
John O'Donnell left Co Donegal, with his 3 brothers unknown names to Canada. John then went on to New Zealand where he married Bridget MacLroy in Christchurch as stated in marriage cert.in 1876.
Bridget's death certificate states maiden name as Gilroy.
Bridget came from Enniskillen, Fermanagh Ireland with her 3 sisters one known as Ellen. I know one sister married a J Yeoman, & one married a Drum.
John's trade in Ireland was a boot maker as was his father, but work as a laborer for the railways in West Eyreton, nth Canterbury.
Bridget & John had 9 children btw 1878-1895.
If any one has info on Johns brothers and/or Bridget's sisters. Also ships they arrived on any information would be greatly appreciated.
regards
