I'm trying to find out more about Eugene PORCHERON and his wife, Marie Louise Olympe PORCHERON (de LA HOGUE), who are buried in Noumea, New Caledonia.

I believe they are my wife's GG grandparents however I need to find out more about them before I can connect them. They seem to have travelled between Australia and New Calendonia for Eugene was in Australia in the 1850s. Some of his family emigrated to Australia later.

Does anyone know how to find more about births, deaths and marriages in New Caledonia?
