My name is Shahfinaaz Hussein. I'm of mixed heritage. My father is Indo-Fijian whereas my mother is Fijian. Now, my mother has been trying to track her family lineage since she has moved from fiji. She does not know anyone past her grandfather. Although we do have a family tree, it has been misplaced, so, I'm on a journey to make a new one.. My mothers name is Selai Valentine. Her Father is Thomas Valentine and her mother is Salote Valentine. Thomas Valentine is the son of Edward Valentine and Lanieta Valentine. Now, that's all I really know at the moment. I don't really have any records of my grandfather or grandmother...but I do know that they were closely linked to the whippy's and McCombers. I would really love to hear from any valentines or anyone that has info ! (:
