Iam looking for descendants of Winifred Banks born 1884 Accrington in Lancashire. She emigrated to Melbourne in 1912 with a friend Miss KNowles. She is in the 1914 electoral roll as a clerk living at 75 York Street Balaclava.I am not sure if she married or not.My grandmother knew she had emigrated but not sure where.I am 99% sure this is the right lady.
Many thanks Karen

This could be her death but I can't see a record of marriage. There is a BRYSON and a BANKS marrying in 1924 but brides name was Irene.

I guess you would have to get the death certificate to be sure it is your girl.

Karen,
They had at least three children, all dying fairly young.

John Webster BRYSON born 1917/15324 at Richmond, died aged 24 1941/4856 at East Kew
Merle BRYSON born 1918/30606 at Richmond, died aged 19 1938/3027 at Heidelberg
Joan Doris BRYSON born c1925, died aged 34 1959/15542 at Parkville, was married to someone O'BRIEN.

Royal William BRYSON (the father) died aged 70 1956/23629 at Lilydale (parents Wm BRYSON & Emma SMITH)

There was a death notice in the Argus on 12 May 1941 for the first son.

BRYSON - On May 9 at East Kew, John Webster, son of Mr and Mrs R W BRYSON, of Croydon, aged 24 years

Also a death notice for Merle on 11 April 1938, but it is not fully readable on the http://newspapers.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/home website. You need to check it in a few weeks' time.

BRYSON -On the 10th April at Austin Hospital Merle dearly beloved...
