My gg grandfather was William Jones.
He was in the Victorian Colonial Navy 1861.
I think he may have been a Sea Pilot around Port Phillip after leaving the Navy.
William was living at Cape Schanck in 1886, and Cape Otway in 1894.
His death cert 1897 states he was a Lighthouse Keeper.

Does anyone know of any records of Sea Pilots and Lighthouse Keepers from that time?
