This may be of use to you, and it may not. While looking up information for the LeNoury side of my family, I came across an entry in the Vic bdm site (https://www3a.maxi.com.au) for Nicholas LeNoury b Guernsey 1817 m Guernsey 1840 to Margaret Lemaitre d.Melbourne 1869. Parents Joseph and Elizabeth. The Family Group Number: BN9738.

If you have run over any information on the people I am looking for, please contact me. I am looking for information on Mary Ann LeNoury b. 1853 (aprox) Footscray Melbourne Vic, m. 1871 to Edward Donald McIver/McCulloch McIver/McCulloch (we are not sure quite which, or how he ended up with these names) Kyneton Vic, d Balmaine NSW 16th July 1899.

Thanks Kathy

Some passenger list information relating to the ship "Edwin Fox" have been extracted from a booklet published by the "Edwin Fox Restoration Society Inc." They in turn have used a variety of sources (government, business and private) to bring the information together. The Society's mission is to restore ship to it's original glory, after years of ravage from the elements.

For more information on the ship Edwin Fox and her proposed restoration,
please visit these sites or do a search on any search engine.

"Edwin Fox" - Voyage to Wellington, arriving 1875

I'm not sure but my grandfather, John Lyng came from Ireland to the USA. The only record I've found in the past several years is a 'John Lyng' coming on the Edwin Fox -
Voyage to Wellington, arriving 1875.

I wrote to the Edwin Fox Museum and they sent me alot of things pertaining to that voyage and the ship.

Can you help me in finding out when he left Wellington and arrived in the USA? John was born in 1852 in Co. Wexford, Ireland and the first time I find him in the USA is in the 1885 census in Gilpin County, CO.

Any help would be appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from you via email.

Thank you,

Surnames: Bougourd
My name is as above, my father was Clifford Bougourd he had brothers and I believe they started the main Ford dealership in Guernsey.
My mother was french, my father died in 1959 and I was moved to Jersey as my mother had left my father when I was 18 months old and he bought me up to the age of nine she claimed me when he died.
It would be Interesting to know if we are related way back.

Best Regards Peter.
