Donald Forbes born in Scotland 1847 accord to obituary in Bunyip (Gawler SA Friday 31 July 1925. He married Rachel Wood in 1884, she came from Essendon - NLA nla.news article re their marriage. States Donald is the eldest son of Alexander Forbes of Essendon, deceased. Bride Rachel is the 6th daughter of William Wood (dec) of Essendon. Donald Forbes died in Western Australia in 1925. Rachel Wood also died in WA in about 1933 supposed in Katanning but I can find no death or burial record for her. Donald and Rachel would be my husband's grandfather but I am having tracing him, he was well known in cattle circles but any help would be welcome. Susan
