I am researching my cousin (2x removed) He was born to John and Elizabeth McAreavey nee Murray in Bairnsdale in 1915 and died in his sleep in 1975 in Melbourne. Father John was a Jesuit priest and taught at St Xavier and St Ignasius. He was a respected entemologist and catalogued the Australian ant, his collection was given to CSIRO in Canberra. I think he was an only child but am not sure, I know my Gt Aunt and Uncle were in their late 40's when he was born (gt uncle John emigrated from Ireland sometime at the turn of the century), i'm not sure if my gt aunt and he were married and emigrated together. I would love to know if he had any other siblings and what the death dates of his parents were
