James Gunn Mackay married Helena Alexa Niven Brown in Prahran in 1928. they had one daughter Elizabeth born the following year. He left his family in about 1931 and they never heard from him again. Nor did he speak to his parents, but did speak to his sister after their fathers death in 1957 and he intimated that he was a sign writer in South Australia. I can't find and record of him under this name in BDM's or Electoral Rolls. Can anyone help please
