Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have a copy of their marriage certificate but unfortunately it doesn't have any further information. The only thing I know is that his father's name was John Hoadley, and at the time of his wedding, his father was deceased. The death in 1934 is my grandfather. The death certificate doesn't have either birth details or information on his parents, so it wasn't much help.

I don't quite know where to start looking for the immigration records. I did try searching shipping records but without much luck. Perhaps there is a site I didn't find.
