Thank you for your reply. It fills in some more gaps for me. JT Yates was married to my mother's aunt on her mother's side. Joseph Yates was married to My Mother's aunt on her father's side and as she was an orphan we don't have many details of her family except for her sister and her aunt who brought them up. I have some photos which inspired me to find out more. I would appreciate info on the 9 Yates brothers and sisters you mentioned. I have the full list of descendants of JT and Katie Yates from Alan Haintz's book on his family, and I have been sent the children of Joseph and Mary Yates. It is all starting to come together now.
