I have been scouring Trove and located the following information which may relate to my family (or least it would be nice to rule it out).
In 1886 the estate of C W Kruger was before the Supreme Court (reported in the the Advertiser and the SA Register). Mrs Altman was identified as the residual legatee and widow of the testator, and Emil Kruger was identified as the youngest son. Can someone help me identify CW Kruger and this family? I haven't really seen anything on the online BMDs on the SAGHS website that jump out at me? Perhaps more can be found by scouring the BMD indexes on the CDs
