Hi Jenny,
I can basically confirm the
Innes HOPPS was actually
Innes HOPPO..
From the SA Poice Gazzette 19 NOV 1873
"The dwelling-house of
Innes Hoppo, at Solomon-street,
Adelaide, was entered on the 12th instant, a box broken
open, and the following stolen therefrom :-Three £1-notes,
three sovereigns, eleven half-sovereigns, £9 in shillings, two
shilling pieces, and half-crowns, and £2 5s. in threepenny
and fourpenny pieces.--(C.1102.)"
