I'm in Adelaide South Australia and for 12 years now I have been doing free research for people all over the world who want information about ancestors/family who came to South Australia in the 1800's.
I saw your request regarding William South and family, so I decided to see if I could find some information for you regarding that family when I was in the South Aus. State Library a few days ago. The following is what I did manage to find, albeit not a lot.
ARRIVAL FROM OVERSEAS.
William South, wife Mary nee Govus and children (1) Mary Ann, (2) Alfred (3) thomas henry arrived in South Australia abord the "Lydnader" which sailed from London via Plymouth 29th May 1840, and arrived in South Australia 6th September 1840.

The word "Mindiyarra" is the name of a railway station 8km north-west of Karoonda. It is a aboriginal word for "plenty"
