Surnames: Schultz,
Hi I'm looking for info for my Uncle, he sent me this email I have an uncle and aunt in springvale cemetry, they were killed on Fraser Island at the same time. Surname Schultz,Eileen and Jack which would be John. Found an Eileen in 1990 but no John. Don't know if it is the right Eileen as cannot remember what year they died in. I need a super-sleuth to help me." Obviously I'm not that sleuth, and I'm in Victoria. He says they were "killed" on Fraser Island, I googled this and nothing came up. Don't know where to look next, can someone help me please.

Hi Jo,

Not sure if this is of any help to you, but, Fraser Island is run by the Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing within the Queensland Government. I will put their phone number up for you and you could try the National Parks section and see how you go.

National parks, marine parks and forests: 13 QGOV (13 74 68)

Not exactly sure if it's of any use or help but this is where I would try first, if you don't have any success then next I would try the Queensland State Library as my next port of call. The other place you may try is the Police Museum, they may know of something too.

Kind regards,

Kel
