Hello my name is Aleisha Fisher-Stevens. My Great Great Grandfather was Joseph Theophile Semblat De Tenon. His daughter (my Great Grandmother) was Elizabeth Mary Smith (nee De Tenon) Elizabeth Mary remarried again and became Elizabeth Mary Hickshaw and is buried in St Matthew's Grovely in Brisbane. My mother has told me she recalls her Grandmother telling her that Joseph Theophile Semblat De Tenon was a blue eyed blonde. He was baptised Catholic and fled France because his parents wanted him to become a priest. Perhaps this might help locate Joseph De Tenon's birth records in Bordeaux. She remembers her Uncle Theo which I assume is Theophile Robert De Tenon and has brief recollection of other De Tenon Family members as a child.
Regards Aleisha
