Debra, anything could be correct at the moment, who Knows?
The woman is related to her Albert Edward Taylor whose mother was Helen Taylor[Donald].
He claims he was separated before war[so the story goes] and even listed her as separated on his enlistment.
By previous do you mean children, if so, allen 9yrs and Jack Morton 6yrs. No mention of Phyllis. She is mentioned on her death cert.
This Fritz and Frid is getting to me. I don't know if I'm Arthur or Martha.
I can find evidence of Albert & Charlotte in Brisbane 1903-5,then nothing after that. Plenty of Alberts /Charlottes in Brisbane at that time. Another thing is that I can find Charlotte on Rockhampton electoral rolls but no mention of Albert Edward Taylor. He[or substitute] must have been around because I have the photo of him and my dad when he enlisted. My dad was only 3yr old. What I did find 1913-14 roll was Charlotte in East Lane Rockhampton[where dad was born]and a Robert Taylor East Lane Rockhampton.
It's weird isn't it Debra. Going by some letters written to Charlotte by him during war, he refers to her as wife and signs his name as A E Taylor, Albert or Bert. He even names the kids and sends his love from DADA. He mentions all of them by name even acknowledges Phyllis.
One letter has got a few of us wondering, it is signed your loving husband Bob. It's got the whole family scratching their heads.
Robert Taylor was still at East Lane when she moved to 241 Bolsover Street Rockhampton, not far from the East Lane address.
No more evidence of Robert Taylor after that.
This one might be for the too hard basket Debra.
Either that or it would make a good spicy love story.
