OBITUARY.
MRS. I. J. FORD.
ATHERTON, Sept 6.
The friends of Mrs. I. J. Ford of Upper Barron and all who knew her were deeply grieved when news came through that she had passed away at the Ather- ton District Memorial Hospital at 2.30 a.m. on Monday, September 5.
- Mrs. Ford was a native of Mulim bimby, on the south coast of New South Wales, and made her home there for many years. She came to Upper Barron about fifteen years ago, and, liv- ing in the country, has been one of the women pioneers who have done so much towards the betterment of the country. She was loved and respected by all who knew her, and leaves a husband and eight children to mourn their loss.
Mrs. Ford was taken ill suddenly and was brought into the Atherton Hospital last week, and though everything pos- sible was done to try and save her, she died on Monday ' morning, .Deceased was 41 years of age.
The funeral took place on Monday afternoon. Messrs. Malcolm, and Maz- lin'had the arrangements in hand,'and the Salvation Army conducted thc ser- vice at the graveside.
