Trying to find out information about Laura Mary JOHNS who was born c. 1870 in Coleford, Gloucestershire, England. Her parents were Francis William JOHNS and Hannah Laura JOHNS (nee James and Stacey). They arrived in Australia in about the 1870's. At the time Laura Mary was aged 16 years (about 1886) the family were living in Clifton, Qld. Laura Mary had a disagreement with her parents and left home at age 16 years, ceasing contact with her parents forever. If anyone has any info regarding what became of Laura Mary JOHNS, please make contact as it just may solve a great family mystery for a friend of mine.
