ASPINALL - DONNELLY - SMITH - STANTHORPE - WARWICK

Surnames: ASPINALL DONNELLY SMITH
Hi All

I was wondering if anyone has any information on Catherine Donnelly, Norah Donnelly, Edward Smith or Joseph Aspinall who lived in the Stanthorpe and Warwick regiosn of Qld, Australia.

I believe my great aunt was Catherine Donnelly born in 1864 at Jersey on Jersey Island and died on 3 July 1940 at Warwick, Qld, Australia.

Her parents were John Donnelly and Mary Allen and they lived at Maryland,Stanthorpe. I am unsure where the migrate from.

Catherine married Joseph Aspinall on 14 February 1885 at the Gap, Warwick. Joseph was born in 1861 and died 6 April 1949 at Warwick. Joseph’s parents married in 1859 and were John Aspinall born in abt 1830 and Mary Frawley born abt 1830. Catherine and Joseph had 10 children, 9 boys and 1 girl.

I believe that Catherine’s sister Norah was my great grandmother. Norah was born in 1861 and died on 23 October 1931 at Warwick, Qld.

Norah married Edward Smith in 1891 at Warwick and they had 4 children; 3 daughters and a son. Edward was born in 1860 and died in 1911. His parents were Owen Smith and Catherine Murphy.

Any information that you may be able to give me would be much appreciated.

Hi Lyn

I am wondering do you know the maiden name of Elsie Aspinall?

She was mother to my grandfather Donnelly Joseph Aspinall who died in 2010. I am pretty sure Robert James Aspinall was his father and her husband but the records above show them living at difference residence in 1930.

Thanks
