His name is Anthony(Toni) George Stevens, he was married to my mother Glenys (Maiden name rose) in victoria in 1981/82 or there abouts.

Trying to trace these Cox people or their descendants. The above moved from Etchillhampton, Wiltshire between the wars (unconfirmed). We know Jessie (Jessica?) got married and died in childbirth just after the war. There should be two twin boys, now in their late 50s 60s. My 3rd cousin - asked me to look into this for her (she's 91), she says they settled in a place with a funny name, Waga something and took to sheep farming. I know there isn't much info here but if anyone can suggest sthg vaguely helpful I would appreciate it. I am searching for and trying to make contact with any descendant of Emma Russell Parker and William George Parker, who were married in the year of 1877 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England and they immigrated to Australia sometimes during the years of 1877 to 1892. Emma Russell Parker and William George Parker were the parents of Louisa Parker, Eva Parker, James Parker, George Parker, William Parker, who was the husband of Lelia Gibson, and they had a son, Edward William Gibson Parker, and Joseph Parker, who was the husband of Sybil Hamlin, and they had a son, Timothy Russell Parker, and there was another daughter, Amelia/Emelia, who was called "Millie" and she was born in the year of 1892 in Australia and she married Thomas (Tom) Fanning and she died on Tuesday, November 24, 1964 and is buried in the East Brisbane Cemetery besides her husband, Thomas (Tom) Fanning.
Millie Parker Fanning was the first cousin of my paternal grandmother, Heneritte Russell Courts, and Millie visited my family twice during her lifetime, once in the year of 1956, and another time in one of the years of the early 1960's and on the way home to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Millie Parker Fanning made a visit to New Zealand to visit either family or friends.

Hello...
I truly hope any of you can help me out about my great grandfather. All I know his name was Frederick Smith (don't know his middle name but I have to go back to his grave to check) and he was born in Australia but don't know which part in the year of 1878. Also, he came to America with his parents in 1879. I don't know his parents name but I have a Connecticut census showing his father being Australian and his mother being German which that caught me off my guard.
That's all I know, unfortunately since I've been searching high and low for his birth with his German mother's name that would be easily spotted. But still, no luck. Also, I'd like to know whether they arrived America from Australia or Europe.
If you have anymore questions, I'll try my best to answer while I plan on contacting my living aunt to get more information from her since it was her grandfather.

My gt grandad's brother Daniel Hannah, born 1882 in Birkenhead, England, UK appears in the 1891 England census with the rest of the family but then disappears off the face of the earth! Family rumour was that he emigrated to Australia and I have a photograph of him in a Sergeant's Australian Imperial Forces uniform (I've tried to attach the photo) probably taken just before WW1. On the back of the photo is "Uncle Dan in Australia".

The above George McINTYRE married Martha May ROBERTS St Marys Church Darwin NT 31th August 1913. However whilst some of the information is missing from the marriage certificate, more importantly, the grooms place of birth is incorrect. It states that he was born Surrey England. In fact he was born in Haddon, Victoria, Australia. He was the son of Hugh McPherson McINTYRE a Scottish immigrant and Mary Jane HANNAH (born Tasmania 1845 (from memory) not Melbourne as she had listed on her marriage certificate of 1869.). I am trying to find out more about my great uncle, Sidney Hannaford Drew. He was born in Brixham, Devon, UK in 1882. He was a master mariner and sailed to Australia round about 1910.

He worked for a number of shipping companies in Australia, settling first in Sydney.

While living in Sydney, I believe he married Ivy Varley in 1913, with a daughter, Phyliis M. being born in 1917, although I have not been to substantiate this.

NSW have no records of his death, so I was wondering if he had moved to another part of Australia, as he did not return to the UK.

Would appreciate any help to find Sidney. My father is his nephew and would love to know what happened to his long lost uncle and family.

It appears that May married a Charles Hellier in 1914 in Sydney. Their children are: -

(3) Mildred: - Born 1914, Sydney, NSW
(4) Edward W: - Born 1917, Sydney, NSW

I found the death of Annie Maud Harley was listed in 1970 in the District of Cobar,who father was listed as Charles Edward and her mother was listed as May.
I wondering if it's the same Annie Maud child of Charles Hellier and wondered what happen to their line of descendants.

I can't find any other information on May and Charles Hellier, children or their descendants.

It appears Robert P.. St.Clair(sometimes Sinclair) married a Mary Field in Lismore in 1915. Apart from that, I have no further information on them, their children or their descedants.

Any information on these branches of the family would be very much be appreciated.

I cannot find marriages and it appears that they did not stay in Victoria, I thought perhaps that they had shifted state. Their names were John O'Neil(l) born 16 Aug 1861, Edmund born 14 Oct 1862, Charles born 1 June 1866,(he was a policeman and was dismissed on 11 Jan 1893 for forging a cheque and uttering to John Henry constable at Russell Street)., Daniel Joseph born 4 Feb 1874, and Bryan born 17 March 1876. I’m interested in a family named Rogers. Please don’t spend time searching censuses as I have this information, I’m interested in more recent times than that.

The parents are:
WILLIAM FREDERICK ROGERS - born 1910 Camden Town London, died 1980 Dorset
ELLA LOUISA ROGERS nee CAIN - born c 1908, London, died 1985 Chatham
They were married in London in 1932 and had 3 daughters:
ANNE G ROGERS, born 1933 Finsbury London
ELIZABETH M ROGERS, born 1934 Finsbury
RITA J ROGERS, born 1936, Medway Kent
The parents spent part of their life in Australia but returned to England later.

Alexander McHardy born Scotland 1853

Alexander McHardy was born in Forfarshire, in Newtyle Parish on 27the February 1853.

His parents were Charles McHardy and Isabella Grant who married in the Parish of Lintrathen, Forfarshire on 12th December 1841.

Alexander still at home with his widowed mother in the Parish of Dunnuichen, Forfarshire on the 1871 Census as a 16 year old agricultural labourer. I can find no mention of him after this.

It is believed that he left for Australia where he had a family of 7. One of these or a decendent of the same was apparently present at a funeral in Forfarshire in the 1940's or 1950's. Her name was Nellie Green nee McHardy.

Any guidance on how to locate where Alexander settled gratefully received.

I am looking for my father Ronald John Shephard dob 23-9-1934, he was last known to be living in Townsville au. He left England around 1960. I have traced my two half sisters Jewellianne and Kim who live in NSW. Their mother is called Wendy. Wendy and my father had a relationship for about eight years, this would have been around 1973-75 together with the girls they lived in Townsville for a while, Wendy seems to think that Ronald is still living in Townsville with a lady called Nancy, they may have had twin boys. Ronald was married to my mother back in the 1950`s they split up and Ronald went to Australia with some of his family. I have made contact with some of his brothers and sisters but have had no luck as yet with getting in touch with my father. My two half sisters would also like to make contact with their dad they have not seen him since they were very young. I have not seen or heard from my father for over forty years now and would truly like to meet him. "Ralph Entwhistle married Mary Ann Maxworthy (born in England on 20 January 1828) on 16 October 1846. Mary arrived in Western Australia on 6 October 1829 on the Lotus. Ralph and Mary had two children, Elizabeth born November 1847, and Frederick born August 1850. Mary married secondly, John Alexander Denholm, on 2 December 1854. At the time of his marriage in 1846 Ralph was employed as a thatcher/upholsterer at Fremantle. One of the entries for Ralph Entwhistle concludes "Thought by family to have been abducted by American Whaler. His wife waited for several years without news of him before marrying again."

In fact, Ralph Entwistle returned to his home town of Darwen, in Lancashire, England. I would very much like to make contact with anyone who might be descended from Elizabeth or Frederick. Even though they were born Entwistle, it is possible they might have changed their name to Denholm when their mother remarried.

William John LUCY was a nurseryman and farmer and he married Dinah ELLIOTT in IRELAND before emigrating to AUSTRALIA.
William John LUCY (1884-1955) died in Grove Hill Northern Terriroty. He was a wheelwright/blacksmith and miner and Cobb & Co coach driver. He married Margaret O'SHEA (1892-1972) She died in Darwin Northern Terriroty. She was a publican. Her father was Patrick O'SHEA and her mother was (nee BARRETT)

Any other LUCY descendants especially with links to Northern Terriroty and maybe ancestors from Market Hill Ennskillen Fermanagh Ireland as well - I would love to make contact and see if we can establish a match to the families.

Patrick O'SHEA died in Northern Terriroty 1925. This side of the family is much better. Comprehensive work by dedicated Northern Territory descendants of Timothy O'SHEA (1878-1958) has resulted in a slightly better developed tree than the LUCY tree. Timothy O'SHEA was born in Tralee Kerry Ireland. He was a miner at Pine Creek in Northern Terriroty. Some of his children were born in Queensland.
He married Kate/Katie/Kathleen/Cath/Cathleen/Cath Mary (take your pick) nee O'KEEFE some time before 1908. Their children included Kathleen Mary/Johanna/Mary Ellen//Eileen ces/Noreen Margret/Sheila Veronica.
