Hello
My name is Heather Hobbis and I live in Adelaide South Australia. I have been offering free research to people all over the world for about 15-20 years. who want information about ancestors/families etc. that came to Australia.
I was browsing the Ancestry Message Boards and came across the FANNING/RUSSELL families.
i have just recently read the request on the Ancestry Message Boads re the Russell and Parker and Fanning families
The thing that caught my eye was a comment re the word 'WAGA' in yru request.
I was born and bred in South Australia, and have quite a good amount about various States in Austrralia.
I noted in the Russell/Parker/Fanning request that the word 'WAGA' is in the request.
I am definately NOT. trying to put you down, or anything like that. In face, I think I can help you re the word
'WAGA'
'WAGA'
Is, in fact, an unknown place in Australia.
However, in the State Of New South Wales, there is a large town called 'WAGGA WAGGA', and there are numerous sheep farms in the area.
I hope the above has not been a bit "pushy", but I just wanted to help
Regards
Heather

The following is the little I was able to find.
