"Wedding Bells
Miss Mary Fisher, the third daughter of the late Mr Harry Fisher and Mrs Fisher of the 2 1/2 Mile, and Mr. George
Seale, only son of Mrs May Brown of the Victoria Hotel, were the principals in a marriage ceremony performed by
the Rev I L Skelton in the presence of a host of friends, and a large number of spectators at the Church of England last Tuesday night at eight o'clock. The dainty little bride, dressed in white flowered silk, brown hat with green silk swathed crown, and a bunch of pink roses falling over the side, was attended by her very worthy mother, was given away by Mr. Alec Moray, while Mr Seale dispensed with the formality of a best man. He was, however, morally supported by several intimate friends who assisted in an enthusiastic demonstration to the quietly happy couple, as they emerged from the church into their new life. In the grounds they were showered with confetti and congratulations, and the old wharf rang with hurrahs when the Montoro, on which they took their departure for Melbourne, cast off her moorings."
