Two sisters born Donnelly in Newbridge Co. Kildare emigrated to Australia between 1900 and 1930. In Australia they settled and reared families in the darwin area. Their siblings were John, a tailor, Christopher who was killed in in France in 1917 serving with the Leinster Regiment, one other brother and a sister Mary Ann known as Mollie.
