I recently got hold of my father's WWII service record with the RAAF. In his discharge papers there is a reference to his first wife and their infant daughter, and I would like to find out more about this part of his family as he never spoke of them before he died.

Here's what I know

Leslie Ernest Norton
Born 26 Oct 1914
Married Nancy Trueman 2 Oct 1943
Daughter, Denise Barbara born 26 Apr 1944
They were living at 25 Francis Street, Bondi Beach, NSW in Aug 1945.

He and Nancy probably divorced* before 1952 when my father emigrated to the UK.

He was living at 8 Robertson St, West Thogariah/Shogariah, NSW (not sure at all as the handwriting on the letter is not clear at all, but he seems to have mostly lived in the Sydney area) in Aug 1949,

* When I was little I found a letter of his to my mum mentioning that he was a divorcee.
