Hi, I am looking for any information about my ancestors Henry Rose and Eliza Ferris who lived at Rothbury/ Rothbury Estate around 1850.

I have found 2 articles in the Maitland Mercury newspaper, 1851 re- Eliza abandoning Henry, and
1852 re- Cautioning against buying cattle (with the brand EF),from Ann Ferris and William Suffolk as they were the property of Henry Rose.

Henry and Eliza had probably reconciled at this stage because their son John Rose was born in 1852. John married Mary Ann Reardon in 1874.
My gggrandmother Ann Rose was born in 1853.

I am not sure if there were other children in this marriage between Henry and Eliza which actually seems to have occurred in 1858 at the RC Church, Maitland.

Ann Rose married Samuel Henry Davey in 1874 at Willow Tree, Murrundi, his address given as Warrah.

I think Henry Rose died at Warrah (property of the AA Company?), Murrundi in 1875.
