thank you for your reply. I have purchased a copy of george Watt death certificate, it says parents unknown but born in Maitland NSW. I have searched bdm records to no avail. He died age 77rs in 1926 in Balmain NSW. I have not looked in the death notices as yet, I will try that.

As for John Knight I also have his death certificate it listed his parents. But I have not found his birth either as yet. I have also searched BDM records he was also born in Sydney in 1846 But I think I have found his parents there was more to there names than they listed on his death certificate,It had listed james and daisy KNIGHT as his parents but I found them to be william james KNIGHT and candace KNIGHT.
