It appears that Archibald had 8 children in Qld & died in 1878

He married 1864 -Charlotte Baker Wilson & had 8 children (as below)

1869 Eleanor Elizabeth Laurie Finlay
b 1871 & d 1914 (maybe WW1) Archibald Borthwick Finlay
b 1873 & d 1941 Gilbert Lawrie Finlay
b 1874 Henry Alexander Finlay
b & d 1875 George Charles Finlay
1877 Unnamed (M) Finlay

Their son Archibald (1871-1914) married 1900 Augusta Margaret Wesche - 1 child
b & d 1900 Augusta Margaret Finlay

& married again in 1905 Bridget Mary Hackett - 1 child

b 1906 & d 1942 (maybe WW2?) William Archibald Finlay
