Hi,

Can anyone help with interpreting a what "previous issue" means on a birth certificate? it comes under the date and place of marriage of the parents. Would it be a previous marriage or an already established child to those parents??

Tia, Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Previous Issue is the children born to those parents previously.

Sometimes, for whatever reason some parents included previous children from 'other' relationships but it was generally supposed to be only for previous children to 'that' marriage/relationship.
