Hi,

i am posting this message on behalf of a lady called Phyllis Cumberlidge nee Brown. Phyllis has not seen or heard from her mother, AGNES Faithful "Nessie" Brown nee PATON, since ~1949.

Agnes was born in Fife, Scotland, then immigrated to Australia (date?). She married Thomas Brown in 1930, & they had about 3 children (incl. Phyllis). Agnes left her husband (& children) for another man ~1949 (my great-grandfather!) & moved to Alice Springs(Australia) with him. Phyllis & her siblings have not heard from or seen her since(64 years!!). Because of this i don't know if she had any further children, or re-married.

She was living at Alice Springs until about 1955, after that i do not know. Agnes may have moved to USA? She would be about 99 years old now, so i am expecting she has likely passed away. It would be nice for her daughter to know what has happened to her mum though, and have some closure. All of the information i have so far is on my family tree ("Hepe-Emery Family Tree").

If anyone could please help, it would be greatly appreciated.
