Hohnholt, 78, 60 year resident of the Sunrise and Guernsey area, who died in
Wheatland Aug. 21, 1986 were held in St. Anthony's Catholic church in Guernsey at 2 pm Saturday, Aug 23. Father Tony
Jablonowski and Father Bernard
Bianco officiated. The Rosary was said Friday evening at the church. Burial was in the Hartville Cemetery.
Born Dec. 20, 1907 in
Bloomfield, Neb., Everett was the son of Henry and Louise (
Hansen)
Hohnholt. He was raised and educated in
Bloomfield, moved to Sunrise in 1926 and began mining at the C.F. & I. Mine. He and Eda Corollo were married in
Torrington, Aug. 11, 1928. They lived in Sunrise and rasied their family there while he continued working the for mine. He retired in 1973 and in 1982 they moved to Guernsey. Survivors include his wife, Eda of Guernsey; five sons,
Bert of Louisville,
Colo., John of Northglenn,
Colo., Joseph of Guernsey, Robert of
Torrington, Everett Jr. of
Commerce City, Colo.; two sisters,
Celia Hill of Osceola,
Iowa and Elsie King of Wheatland; one brother, Henry of
Kearney, Neb., 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother,
Sport Hohnholt, and a sister,
Freda Miller. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Hartville Cemetery.
Schrader-Prell Funeral Home of
Wheatland was in charge of the arrangements.
