I am trying to acquire information on two American Civil War Union veterans who moved to Wyoming after the American Civil War and eventually moved on to Hill City, South Dakota. They were born in New South Wales, Australia, Michael Dwyer born in in 1843 served in Company "I", 57th Ma. Infantry, James Dwyer born in 1842 in Company “H”, 11th US Infantry . Their father, Lawrence Dwyer, was in Company “F”, Massachusetts 2nd Cavalry Battalion. Michael Dyer died October 9, 1913 and was buried in Hill City Catholic Cemetery;James and Lawrence are also buried in the Hill City Catholic Cemetery, death dates unknown. I would like to add all of them to the Australian ACW Veterans Memorial Website, www.acwv.info and preserve thier memory for future generations; but I need more information to do so; especially on their lives. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. I am hoping someone might be able to provide some information on one or both of them.
