Funeral services were held at the
Stark Chapel Tuesday, May 23, for Perry D. Martindale, who died at the
Wilson Nursing Home May 20 following quite a long illness. Rev. Meadche officiated.
Mr. Martindale was born Sept. 25, 1886 in
Kansas. He was a retired decorator and had lived here nine months. He had resided in
Casper for twenty-five years, and was a member of the Masonic and
Odd Fellow lodges.
Survivors include two brothers, Dean
Martindale, of
Brooks,
Ore., and Joe
Martindale of Douglas; and two sisters, Minnie
Irvin of Green River,
Utah, and Jeanette Martin of
California.
Pallbearers were members of the Masonic
Lodge who also held graveside services. They were John Tholson, John
Paulson, Maurice Good, Bob
Park, Alfred Kaugman, Jr., and Arthur
Joss, Sr.
I have confirmed that Perry is the son of Daniel
Jasper Martindale and Sarah Ellen
McCracken. Sarah's father and one of her brothers are also named Perry.
