I am looking for information about my Great Aunt Jennie Keränen, born 24 May 1890 in Finland, came to Houghton/Hancock MI USA in 1905 (I have passsenger list & Canadian border crossing).
I was told she married a John Lakso and wrote letters from Glenrock Wyoming. I believe I found her in the 1930 US census.
Also mentioned was " soldiers plot, CO, 1935 " in regards to her husband. The 1930 census does show he was in WW I and I have a possible WW I draft registration. I received an e-mail from a cousin in Finand and she states that "sheep farmer" was mentioned in regards to Jennie's husband.
Also in the Finnish e-mail was the death date of Jennie of 24 May 1954.
Any suggestions, hints help in finding marriage and death information would be greatly appreciated.
