I am not familiar with the Kane WY area but understand that the original Kane Cemetery may have been replaced. Is there a listing of or any information on persons who were buried in Kane Cemetery? Specifically, I am searching for the burial of Joseph Stanton Brown, born 1857 in MO, who died near Kane. Also, is there a book available about the Big Horn/Kane area? Thanks for any help.

Near the 1900's the town of Kane was placed under water when the built a damn. The town of Kane is near Lovell, Wyoming located on what we call Yellowtail Habitat. The cemetry still exists. When the weather warms up, I will drive out to the Kane cemetery and look.

Thank you for your reply. I will appreciate any information you can send. His son, Stanton Brown, b. 1903 may also be buried in the Kane Cemetery. Pat Halliday
