Looking for cousin Doris Marie Cleveland Sharpless born
abt. 1932 in Colorado.

Her father was George Edward Cleveland. Her mother was
Celeste Sutton. Both from Colorado.

She was adopted by Martin Sharpless residing in Buford,
Alband county, Wy. on January, 1934.

I suspect you have had no response to this post or to the similar one on genealogy.com in 1999. I don't have anything to give you on her currently. However, my father's cousin, Theodore W Carmean, was married to Celeste Sadie Sutton, mother of Celeste Marie Sutton who married George Chandler Cleveland, the parents of Doris Marie Cleveland.
Celeste Marie and her sister, Alice E Sutton, were step-daughters of Theodore Carmean. I do not know who their natural father was. If you have any information along those lines, I would certainly welcome it.
