Trying to locate gr grandparents. I know they lived in MI and Had their children in MI Mathilda, Emma, Edward, Anna, Clare, Carl. Carl is my grandfather. My mother remembers her grandfather slightly she was born 1930 so it must have been 1934+. She knows they would visit relatives in WI and MN. I would like to know what year he died and where he is burried. I know that Carrie and Charles divorced in MI in 1919 and she got the property. She died Dec,10, 1924 I would assume in MI, but not for sure positive.

Looking for relatives of Charles and Caroline/Carrie Johnson, brothers or sisters so I can get the history of my gr grandparents. Caroline/Carrie Anderson I think had a twin since in the census there is a Christian with same age and year of birth. I have posted in Iowa, Michigan, MN, and Wisconsin. I know they traveled there so they must have been visiting relatives of one of the sides. Charles is suppose to have gotten here from Sweden in 1873 and Carrie Anderson in 1880 or 1881.

Have you obtained their marriage record from Menominee County?. Maybe their parents are listed. If not on the courthouse record, then maybe a church record?

More information found, Caroline confirmed with children on the obits of Chicago ILL d. 4-15-1935 could be 4-16 on the obits. Her daughter lived in Chicago area or ILL. close to that area. The date first posted for death is wrong.

New verified information. Carrie Johnson maiden(Anderson) b. October 9, 1865 in Denmark died 4-16-1935 in the Rhinelander Wisconsin Area. Verified with Obit the children who were adults, Anna LaRoche, Clara Maule, Emma Edwards, Matilda Bengston, Carl Johnson and Edward Johnson. I still am looking for Charles and verify with children to find the right one. I need the parents of both also. Was told that when daughter filled out the death information, she put unknown on the parents area.
