I am looking for information on my Great Grandfather Charles L. Clark (or Clarke), I believe he was born in Wisconsin in Aug. 8,1866. All I have on him is that his biological father and brother died in a Prairie fire in Bowbells N.D. and his surname may have been Moten? He was adopted by Clarks (Clarke) family. I am interested in names and dates of his biological family and his adopted family. I believe he died in 1911.
Also he married Margaret Christina Reed also born in Wisconsin on March 9. 1872. She died in 1956. I know nothing more about her other than that after Charles died she later married someone with the surname Russell.
