I checked a few sources for you with out much success. T

here are no listing in the 1923 Wood County History for MEDDAUGH.

I also checked some early record indexes compiled by the Heart 'O Wisconsin Genealogy Society for Wood County Courthouse Marriage and Death records and only found a listing in the marriage index for: Isaac MEDDAUGH m Lillie MITCHELL, Oct 11, 1906, Vol. III, pg. 70 of Wood Co. Marriages.

There were no death listings for MEDDAUGH prior to 1897.

I also checked our (Marshfield Area Genealogy Group) indexes of Birth, Marriage and Death articles that were listed in Marshfield newspapers prior to 1908. I found only one listing again in the Marriage index: Lawrence MEDDAUGH, Jan 6, 1898 issue of the "Marshfield News", pg. 4, col. 3 (notes: 1897-1898 of marriage / both Sherwood Forest/wed Elsie FIELDS.)

A previous response mentions MEDDAUGH still in Clark County. There are 25-30 listings for MEDDAUGH in the 1999/2000 Marshfield/Stevens Point/Wisconsin Rapids Area phone book. If you would like more info on that just let me know.
