Hello!

Would you have any connections to the Burdick family who lived in the Plainfield, IL area? Their names were Lewis and Josiah Burdick and they were brothers. They served in the Civil War.

Also, re the Aulsbrook name: Two more brothers, Charles and Henry, both served in the Civil War and were from Plainfield. Henry died very shortly after enlisting. Their father, married a Caroline Smith - his 2nd marriage, and they eventually lived in St. Joseph, MI I think after moving from Plainfield to Belle Plain, IA.
