FAHSER and GRUENING - Waupaca/Waushara Counties, WI



I bought an attractive Baptismal Certificate some years ago in an antique store in Waupaca County, Wisconsin:

Ludwig Hermann, son of Julius FAHSER and Emilie (GRUENING?).

Ludwig (Louis) was born 4 July 1901 in Union, Waupaca County, Wisconsin, and was baptized 27 July 1901.

Baptismal Witnesses (Godparents) were Maria PRELWITZ and Julius (FUSS/FULS?).

The certificate and all manuscript entries are in German; it was printed by Concordia Publishing House, St. Louis, Missouri.

The certificate (about 10"x12") is in a wood (oak?) frame, but the glass is cracked.

I see Louis in the Julius FAHSER household in 1910/1920 Little Wolf, Waupaca County, Wisconsin Federal Censuses.

I'll be happy to give the framed certificate to anyone who might have an interest in it, for only a fixed shipping charge. Seems like too good an item to keep out of the family.
