Milwaukee's German newspapers: 4 generations - Stroessenreuther, Zempel, Witt

This picture shows four generations of a German family near Manawa, Wis. The great-grandfather, is Mr. George Stroessenreuther, born on 24 July 1844 in Leupold, Upper Franconia, Bavaria, now 71 years old, he lives in the Manawa area. The grandmother, is his daughter Mrs. Lena Zempel who was born on 28 February 1871 in Sugar Bush. Now 47 years old, she lives in Manawa. Then comes Mrs. Clare Witt, who lives near Simgo, 25 years old, and her little 3 year old son, Earl.
