I am trying to find an exact birth place and/or parents for Jacob Schwindt. He immigrated to Wisconsin and died in Waukesha, Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1877, He was a shoemaker and his son Gabariel was a lawyer in the same area. I know he was born in Prussia but do not have the exact location. I was hoping I would find that information on some wisconsin records. I have found this surname at Saint Matthais Church but nothing more than just that. He married Catherine Kratz who's dad, Valentine, helped settle the area (i think) I would love information.
