Matt (Mathias) Haugom did move to Clark, South Dakota where he had 12 children that I am aware of. He came over from Norway when he was 3 years old. He is buried at the Our Saviors Cemetary between Bradley and Crocker SD. He was my grandmother's grandfather. Both my grandmother (89) and her sister (95) are still alive so they are working on filling in some missing pieces for me. But the story they tell is about Matt losing his hat on the boat coming across.
