Below is a list of names, hand-embroidered on alternate squares of a “Churn-Dash pattern” quilt, owned by a friend of mine, one of their descendants. The quilt has lots of 1930’s green fabrics, plus what we would now call “vintage” small flowered prints. It may have been a raffle quilt?
There were 6 columns with 7 rows. The center square is embroidered “1935 Sunshine Club Stetsonville WI.”
I recorded the names, just figuring it might add info about Stetsonville area activities in 1935. If you can add or change any first names or indicate which are maiden names or married, please send them to this board. Feel free to correct any spellings, some stitches are worn or missing. If you can fill in anything about the club itself, officers or activities, or its connection to any church or other organizations, that might help somebody, too.
The order of the 41 names didn't seem significant, so I alphabetized them:
L. Abegglen, C. Amacher,
E. Baumer, I. Baumer, S. Bockin, B. Brecke, A. Brunner, M. Brunner,
S. Dietze,
E. Haase [this could be Haas or Maas or Maase?],

Thanks for any info you can add.
