Murder in Sheboygan 1890-1892, Gartner and 'Nunamacker'

Surnames: Gartner, 'Nunamacker'
I am looking for information about a murder of a family around between 1890-1892. A farmer murdered his wife and children.

I have the following information: his wife's name was Anna Gartner, she was originally from Illmitz Austria. She worked as a maid there, got pregnant and was sent to live with relatives in St Paul MN at the age of 17. This was sometime in the 1880's. They rejected her because of her condition. Left on her own, she bore a son. She married shortly after that and moved with her husband to Sheboygan, where his brother owned a farm.

The farmer's name may have been 'Nunamacker' or something similar. The spelling could be very off, possibly Knunamacher. I am truly not sure of his name.

Her younger sister was named Theresa. Theresa joined Anna in Sheboygan and worked as a housekeeper on a nearby farm. Anna's husband paid her passage and that of several other relatives who emigrated to Montreal Canada.

In the summer of either 1890 or 1891 the farmer suffered severe heatstroke and his farm went untended. Anna and three children all came down with Diptheria, and Anna was also pregnant again. Theresa did not see her sister for several weeks, because Diptheria was so contagious. One day Anna's dog came to the house of the farmer's brother. When he took the dog back he found his brother sitting vacant eyed on the porch and Anna and her children murdered in the house.

The farmer was committed to an asylum. There was a funeral for the family, which Theresa remembered attending. I do not know if they were buried in a cemetery (sometimes murder victims could not be buried on church grounds) or on the farm. Theresa was about 17 at the time, and she was born in Jan 1873, marking these events between 1890 and 1892.

Theresa left Sheboygan and moved to Montreal with the rest of her family by 1892.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!!
