I want to find out if /or how my great-grandfather Louis (Ludwig) Eisold is related to the Eisolds of Sheboygan. My thoughts are that many of the Eisolds may be related in some way since it isn’t an overly common surname and they are clustered in Door, Sheboygan and Marathon Counties.

Below is the information on Louis marriage. In other places Augusta’s surname is spelled Miller.

I also know that Louis’ son William Eisold in Wausau Nov 5, 1918. He left a widow, Martha, and a young daugher Gladys. Martha later married Henry Sessler of Sheboyan and moved to that city. Gladys Married Eugene Myer. in about 1934.

Louis and Augusta’s chikdren were Lydia,William, Francis, Frank, Hilda, Harvey, Walter (my grandfather) and Howard.
