PLAN RITES FOR MRS. BERTHA WERNER TUESDAY MORNING
Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Werner, aged 70, who passed away Friday at 7 p.m. at St. Nicholas hospital, will be held Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the Ballhorn Funeral Temple and at 9 o'clock at St. Peter Claver church. Rev. C.J. Hausner will have charge of the services at the Temple, and Rev. Jalsley, of St. Boniface church, Manitowoc, will officiate at the grave.
Deceased was born at Manitowoc on February 3, 1865, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph _____ [unreadable - ugh]. She attended public and Catholic schools of Manitowoc. She was united in marriage to Robert Werner at Manitowoc, where they made their home for a number of years, after they came to Sheboygan, and for the last five years made her home with her daughter, Mrs. George Gergisch, 514 South Fourteenth street. Burial will be made in the family lot in Calvery, Manitowoc.
Her husband preceded her in death three years ago. Survivors are three sons, Robert, Sheboygan, and William and Theodore of Washington, D.C.; three daughters, Mrs. F.J. Schaafs, Milwaukee; Mrs. George Gergish, Sheboygan, and Mrs. C.B. Cannon of Chicago. One sister, Mrs. Theresa Strathman, and one brother, John _____ [Keif or Reif], both of Manitowoc, and 15 grandchildren.
