Barbara E. Schroeder
Barbara E. Schroeder, age 66 of the Town of Richmond, passed away Monday, July 03, 2006 at her home. Barbara was born on June 29, 1940 in Shawano, daughter of the late Grover and Eleanore (Kaempf) Beversdorf. On August 5, 1961 she was united in marriage to James L. Schroeder in Shawano. James preceded her in death on December 9, 2005. Barbara lived most of her life in the Shawano area and had worked in the Shawano County Clerk Office for several years until her retirement. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Shawano and enjoyed gardening and watching the birds and deer.

Barbara is survived by: 4 sisters, Ione Schultz of Shawano, Ruth Meidam of Shawano, Marjorie (Frank) Norris of Milwaukee, Doris (Dan) Reinheimer of North Carolina; 1 sister-in-law, Barbara Beversdorf of Shawano; several nieces and nephews including Pete (Jan) Schroeder of Shawano; and great nieces and nephews including Sam Schroeder.

Barbara was preceded in death by: her husband, James; her parents; and 1 brother, Daniel.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church in Shawano with the Rev. Tricia Matthews officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday after 10:00am until the time of the service. Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements.
